The Waste Census NYC webapp calculates your waste by community district and compares it to the Mayor's Zero Waste goals and your performance from the previous year. Recycling, composting and waste reduction rates are tracked and displayed in personalized dashboards in order to make complex, city-wide numbers more relevant to the average New York City resident. This website was created with Bernardo Loureiro, Leila Santiago and Pedro Lambert and made it to the semi-finalist round of the BigApps NYC competition.
